We all love our pets and try to please and spoil them. Unfortunately, we end up suffering from it. The first mistake of all Yorkie owners is during their first day at home with the dog. Since you adore him, play with your puppy and never leave him without your attention. You should not take your puppy to bed with you even if he wines. Your puppy will get used to sleeping in its owner’s bed. Firstly, a dog should know its place. If you will train her to sit on the couch, she will always sit there. Since it is not normal for a dog to sleep in your bed do not get in the habit of bringing her to bed with you. Based on my own experience I can say that if you’ll take the puppy with you to bed the first several nights, she will end up sleeping with you. Try to develop all the qualities of the behavior that you would like to see in the future at an early age. Just like with humans, it is hard to radically change a habit or personality of an adult but easier to adjust a child’s bad habits.
